Radiocafe is pleased to announce the lauch of two new sections:

Radiocafe Articles

Our new articles section features some of the most informative music articles on the net. Focusing initiatlly on pirate radio and soul music, and in conjunction with Push FM, this month's offering includes:

> BACK IN THE DAYS
"By The People, For The People" by Langers.
We turn the clock back 20 years and take a good look at street-radio in 1986. What were we listening to?

> BACK IN THE DAYS:
"Original Soul Weekender"by Langers.
In edition 2, we take a close look at the almighty LWR and listen to sound clips of rising stars, Ron Tom and Steve Edwards.

> LOCKED ON:
"Why We Do What We Do" by Rosko.
Push FM's Rosko looks at the background and lifestyles of pirate radio in this in-depth and incredibly informative feature.

> WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SOUL:
"Sense Of Universal Love" by Sole Intent.
Talented writer and DJ Sole Intent looks at the state of soul music - have all the good soul grooves disappeared?

Radiocafe Promo

Radiocafe is launching its new promo pages, and is offering talented new artists free for your new music to be featured on our site.

All you need to do is send us some cover art, a few details about your label and the tracks, links to your site or myspace, and 30 second sound clips for 4 tracks/mixes (or just send us the tracks!).

We're also happy to profile any DJs with something interesting to say, and can do a page featuring your music choices and views, you car etc.

What is Radiocafe?
We're an online entertainments mag and music promo company. We comprise a record pluggers, a few djs, and couple of journalists and couple of designers. We're doing this primarily as a labour of love to promote the worthy and raise the profile of the forgotten. We're also founders of the Campaign For Real Music ®.

What can Radiocafe offer?
We're happy to promote the worthy Push FM cause, so can offer dedicated pages on our site profiling your music. We can also plug the music through industry channels. Who else has Radiocafe promoted? Our main promo man is ex Tommy Boy and Anglo Plugging, so has years of promoting artists ranging from MAW and Fatboy Slim to Leo Sayer.

What will it cost me?
Nothing, as we currently want to get decent new artists on our site to complement the existing conent. All we ask for is a link from your site or myspace to us.

What will I get in return?
Decent exposure - our site currently gets over 10,000 hits per month, and has a high Google page rank and listing. This will help to increase your Google ranking and pupularity. Later this year, we've planning a re-launch and e-newsletter, with an ever increasing database of individuals, many who are from just about every major record and radio station co in the industry.

Loads of great artists are now being profiled on Radiocafe. Do you want to get to know the likes of Earth Wind and Fire, Don Blackman and Joey Negro? Before you say "no!", take a look at the site, as we've got sound clips which we believe will convince you otherwise.

This month we highlight the music of Donald Fagan, a true pioneer of great music. If you don't think you know Donald's music then think again - he's one half of supergroup Steely Dan, who brought us classics such as Ricky Don't Lose That Number and Black Jack (Do It Again). Leo Sayer starts the official Campaign For Real Music ®

Following his comeback success with “Thunder In My Heart Again”, Leo Sayer has become the official sponsor of the "Campaign For Real Music ®", which (in the same way as CAMRA did for beer) is gradually gaining support from the music industry to raise the profile of the many forgotten or overlooked but hugely talented artists.
